Hungarian gastronomy can be legitimately proud of its diverse and unique-tasting, traditional cuisine. I would consider the goulash soup, stuffed bell peppers, and Gundel pancakes to be among the most tasty dishes. But the unique elements in Hungarian cuisine are also quite flavorful, including the main courses cooked from various vegetables or the stews with different types of dumplings. Tasting the Hungarian aperitif, a fruit schnapps called “Pálinka”, is also a must.
